MARCH 26 UPDATE

As always, our top priority at The New Dentist is that of our patients, team and family. We have been closely monitoring the evolving situation with the COVID-19 pandemic and as directed by the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (APHCC) we would like to announce the following change moving forward.

As of Monday 30th March 2020, we will be closing EXCEPT FOR EMERGENCY TREATMENT ONLY.

Our dentists will be available on an on-call roster via telephone to triage emergency treatment as required.

Our telephone number remains unchanged on 9315 3008 during this time.

Please keep safe, isolate, and our thoughts are with everyone at this time.

MARCH 24 UPDATE

The New Dentist has suspended all non-essential dental treatment for the safety of our staff and our patients.

All patients booked in for preventive care appointments until the end of April  will be contacted to reschedule their appointment.

We remain open in a reduced capacity for essential treatment and emergencies.

About the ONLY thing on people’s minds right now is the Coronavirus. So let’s talk about it.

The purpose of this notice is to keep you informed about the proactive approaches we’re taking with regards to the COVID-19 situation.

We take your health and welfare seriously. And while we’ve always been committed to sanitation and infection control, rest assured we’re taking special precautions these days.

Hand sanitiser is provided for use in our reception area and throughout our practice.

All surfaces, equipment and adjusting tables are regularly sanitized with disinfectant.

Team members will continue proper hand hygiene in accordance with federal guidelines and adhere to proper cough etiquette.

We will complete a written/verbal screening process for all new and returning patients to keep the clinic secure for everyone.

Please ring us to reschedule your appointment if you have flu-like symptoms such as fever, runny nose, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat.

We would look forward to welcoming you back once your symptoms resolve.

Most of us have never experienced anything like this in our lifetime.

It’s an evolving situation and we’ll keep you informed if anything should change.
