Dr Rachael Pantin, Dentist
Rachael was introduced to dentistry at an early age and worked in all aspects of the practice: from assembling gift packs, sterilising equipment, working in reception and assisting the principal dentist.
After completing primary and secondary schooling at Penrhos College in Como, she moved to NSW and became a 2014 graduate of Charles Sturt University in Orange NSW with a Bachelor of Dental Science. This undergraduate programme was chosen for it’s practical clinical emphasis and almost half of the 5 year programme was spent treating patients in country placements across NSW.
Following graduation she returned to WA and worked as a dentist in Bunbury for 3 years and has now returned to where her exposure to the dentistry began.
Rachael has undergone additional post-graduate training including orthodontics using the Invisalign® system, and CEREC restorations.
Choosing Dentistry
For Rachael, dentistry was chosen over other science-related professions because patient care centred over patient interaction and practical clinical skills, both of which she enjoys. Part of her ethos is that dental visits shouldn’t be a chore nor fearful, instead they should form part of a holistic approach to general wellbeing.
